A silk saree professionally pleated and pinned into a ready-to-wear drape

Draping a saree well takes practice, patience and a mirror you can never quite get the angle on. Our Ready-to-Wear service removes all of it. You hand over a loose saree; we return it pleated, pinned and set, so it goes on like a garment rather than a project.

What our staff do

The saree is first pressed to remove creases, then pleated to an even, measured fall in the style you have chosen. Pleats are secured, the pallu is set and pinned, and where you have opted for pre-stitching, the pleats and pallu are stitched into position with fine thread that holds through a full day of wear and can be removed later without marking the fabric.

Choices you make at booking

You tell us the pleat style you prefer, whether you want the pallu pre-stitched, whether the blouse should be pinned, and any length adjustment for your height and footwear. If it is for an occasion, give us the event date and we schedule backwards from it.

Photo confirmation before dispatch

For event orders we photograph the finished drape at quality check and send it to you on WhatsApp before it leaves the facility — so if the pleat depth or pallu fall is not what you pictured, we adjust it before delivery rather than after.

Fabric care

Silk, tissue, organza, georgette and heavily worked sarees each behave differently under heat and pins. Our staff match technique to fabric, use rust-free pins throughout, and on zari and embellished work press from the reverse with a protective cloth.

Weddings and festive season

Demand spikes hard around weddings and festivals. Book with as much notice as you can, and flag the order as an event booking so it is scheduled against your date rather than the standard queue.

Pleat styles

Four falls, four different looks

You choose the style at booking. If you are unsure, say so — our staff will match the fall to the fabric weight and the occasion.

Classic

5 – 7 pleats

The everyday drape. Even, medium-depth pleats that sit flat and move well.

Narrow

9 – 11 pleats

Finer, closer folds. Formal, and flattering on lighter cottons and georgettes.

Broad

4 – 5 pleats

Deeper folds that show off a heavy border or a large woven motif.

Butterfly pallu

Narrow pallu

The pallu pleated thin and pinned to reveal the blouse and the waist.

Ask for photo confirmation and we will send the finished drape on WhatsApp before it leaves us.

Questions about this service

All FAQs

Your saree is pressed, pleated to an even measured fall in the style you choose, and the pallu is set and pinned. Pre-stitching of the pleats and pallu, blouse pinning and length adjustment are optional add-ons you select at booking.

No. Pre-stitching uses fine thread and a running stitch placed inside the pleat fold, so it holds through a full day of wear and can be removed later without leaving a mark. On delicate silks and heavy zari we adjust technique and pin placement to the fabric.

Yes — ask for photo confirmation when booking. We photograph the finished drape at quality check and send it to you on WhatsApp before dispatch, so any adjustment happens before delivery rather than after.

Customer stories

What people say

I had three wedding functions in one week and no time to drape. They pleated and pre-stitched all four sarees, sent me a photo of each before delivery, and every one of them went on in under two minutes. The pleats held through a full day.
Meera Raghavan Panampilly Nagar · Ready-to-Wear Saree
Five shirts and trousers picked up every Sunday evening, back Monday by lunch. Consistent press, nothing shrunk, nothing mixed up with someone else's clothes. It has quietly removed a whole chore from the week.
Arun Krishnan Kakkanad · Ironing & Pressing
I was nervous about handing over my mother's Kanjivaram. They pressed it from the reverse, used rust-free pins throughout and it came back better than the day I inherited it. That care is why I keep going back.
