1. Who we are

Iron On Wheels operates this website and provides doorstep ironing and Ready-to-Wear Saree services. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Iron On Wheels. You can reach us at hello@irononwheels.in or +91 90000 00000.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to run a collection and delivery service:

• Contact details — your name, mobile number and, where you give it, your email address.
• Service address — the address, locality and pincode where we collect and deliver.
• Order details — the service you booked, your time slot, item counts, garment preferences and any notes you send us.
• Payment records — the amount, date and method. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us.
• Technical data — IP address and browser information captured when you submit a form, used to prevent spam and abuse.

3. Why we use it

• To schedule, fulfil and deliver the orders you place.
• To send you order updates, usually by WhatsApp or SMS.
• To issue invoices and keep the accounting records the law requires.
• To respond to enquiries, complaints and support requests.
• To send marketing email, but only if you have opted in — and you can opt out at any time.
• To improve our routes, capacity planning and service quality.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We share only what is needed with:

• our own collection and delivery staff, who see your name, address, phone number and order;
• our payment provider, to take and reconcile online payments;
• our messaging provider, to deliver order notifications;
• our accounting software, to raise and store invoices; and
• a public authority, where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, currently eight years. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry messages are kept for two years and then deleted.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
• delete your information, where we are not required to keep it;
• stop sending you marketing messages; and
• stop using your information for a particular purpose.

7. Cookies

This site uses only the cookies it needs to work: a session cookie that keeps your form state, and a security token that protects forms against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics later, this policy will be updated before we do.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled servers. Staff see only the information their role requires. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects you we will tell you promptly.

9. Children

Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be notified to customers by email or WhatsApp before they take effect.
